The Padel Club NZ: A new era for Padel in Aotearoa

It’s official, one of the biggest padel clubs in New Zealand has opened its doors a few weeks ago: The Padel Club NZ in Papamoa, in the heart of the Tauranga region.

This project has been over a year in the making, and we at Kiwi Padel are incredibly proud to have partnered with the like minded owners, Tony and Rach, to bring their vision to life. Passionate padel players and true enthusiasts of the sport, they’ve travelled the world to experience the best of padel. They’ve brought all that knowledge home to create something truly special.

Four Portico Sport courts, designed for outdoor play, built to the highest international standards, and tailored specifically for New Zealand’s unique conditions. Every detail has been thought through, from the playing surface to the structural resilience, ensuring the best possible playing experience year-round.

Working closely with Tony, Rach, and our manufacturing partner Portico Sport, we’ve supported the full journey, from design and engineering to installation. As an outdoor club, The Padel Club NZ needed more than just courts, they needed durability, safety, and performance. Thanks to Portico’s premium engineering and our shared commitment to excellence, they now have the best courts on the market.

This isn’t just a milestone for us, it’s a defining moment for the sport in New Zealand. The Padel Club NZ is set to become a hub for the growing padel community, and we can’t wait to see what’s ahead. From beginners to frequent players, this space is built for everyone who wants to play, learn, and love the game.
