Hi Diego , Tell us a bit about yourself and how you started Kiwi Padel.
I consider myself an entrepreneur, active and social. Since I arrived in NZ in 2017, I have had the Padel idea around my head until I finally decided to press the button in 2020 funding KiwiPadel. It has been a beautiful journey learning all the engineering side of my favourite sport, then mixing all the engineering parts with the local building requirements have made a fantastic piece of art that now allows us to play padel in NZ.
Kiwi Padel became the first padel court importer in New Zealand. How do you feel about that?
I am stocked! Really feel over the moon with this achievement for the team that has made this possible, the logistics, the construction and installation workers and the club where the court has been based. To be the first one in such a country is something that I will tell my grandkids with a huge smile on my face.
What is your best advice for future Padel Court owners?
Love the sport, the culture around it, the social aspect of padel and see your community and your finance grow. Surrounding yourself with a good team is key to making your club successful. KiwiPadel is here to facilitate everything you need to set up your club. Get in touch!

Ensure a healthy and stable growth of Padel in NZ, this is not only for the number of new courts coming, but also the community, tournaments and clinics.
