First Padel Court in New Zealand - Opening Event

Come join us at the Riverside Sports Club for an exciting day celebrating the grand opening of the first Padel Court in New Zealand! This is an in-person event that you won't want to miss!

The wait is over, on Saturday we are opening the first padel court in New Zealand. Padel is a racket sport, which is the fastest growing sport in the world, being played by over 25 million people in 90 countries around the world. Padel combines all the best elements of tennis and squash, in an enclosed space that is slightly smaller than a regular tennis court. Most commonly, padel is played in doubles, making it a highly social sport. It is a very easy to learn sport!

We will have rackets and balls for you to use, or you can purchase your own during the day if you want to!

Mark your calendars for this historic event! Here is the timeline of the event:

12:00 pm: Court's Blessing & official opening

12:20 pm: Exhibition game with seasoned players

1:00 pm: Test Padel with us 

3:30pm: Padel New Zealand tournament (entries are closed)
